Since we strongly advocate for keeping cats indoor, we would like to share with you few scientific publications on the impact of domestic cats on nature.
Predation of birds and mammals is only one side of the problem. The other one is the safety of the cats.
You want to make sure your cat can still enjoy fresh air? Why not to give a shot with walking your cat on a harness and leash or in a special stroller? Building an aviary (if possible) or putting a net on the balcony/in the windows can also still provide some much needed fresh air! (We often hear about cats who jumped from the 2nd or even a higher floor! Safety first!).Do you have any other tricks and tips?
